Welcome to all students, postgrads and young adults!
Whether you're here to study or to work, are new to Oxford, or have been around a while – we are so excited to get to know you!
Our young adults seek to grow together in genuine relationship with Jesus, one another and the wider church family.
Young Adults | Rooted
We want to see young adults grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, develop Godly leadership in their places of education and work, seeking the transformation of their communities. St Andrew’s is a place where you can encounter God, grow in discipleship, be part of a loving and supportive church family, and wrestle with questions present during this stage of your life.
Who is a young adult?
We recognise that there’s often overlap in terms of life stages. Rooted our young adults ministry is aimed at those who have just started their undergraduate studies 18 to 30, includes singles, married couples and those with children.
We want to be …
Rooted in Christ – as we grow as His disciples
Rooted in Christ together – as we gather, study His word, pray together and walk alongside each other
Postgraduates
Have you moved to Oxford to undertake postgrad or postdoc work? We want to support and encourage you by offering a supportive church family, a place to encounter God, a community of others in similar work, and a place to find help and ask questions about life as a postgraduate student.

We encourage all members of our church family to be part of a home group, whether that might be a group with other young adults or a mixed-age group.
We gather regularly as a group for a variety of activities – these are a great way to catch up with one another and meet new people.
We grow through service. There are plenty of ways to get involved — whether it be in youth work, worship or outside in the wider community.
