Welcome events

Each term we invite those who are new to St Andrew’s to join different welcome events. This is a great opportunity to get to know others better and learn more about our church. If you would like to join a welcome event, please express your interest by contacting the church office.

What groups can I join?

We recommend everyone to join a house group - a smaller setting where you can get to know a few people better and learn more about faith. We also have groups specifically for different ages and stages of life (e.g. postgraduates, youth, children). On our connect pages you can explore various groups you may want to connect with. You are also welcome to contact the church office for advice.

What to expect on a Sunday

Our Sunday gatherings typically last between an hour to an hour and a half depending on the service. As well as catching up with others, we read from the Bible, listen to a sermon, sing God’s praises and pray. We would love to get to know you after the service and we normally do that over coffee and tea, but if you come to a service in person, please introduce yourself to a member of clergy.  Our Welcome Team would also love to greet you on behalf of the church and answer any questions you may have.
