Prayer Week Web Banner 1

"Awake my soul! I will awaken the dawn." Psalm 57:8

Come and join us as we gather at the start of 2019 to offer the year ahead to God, listen to his voice, and seek an awakening of his Spirit in our lives and across North Oxford.

Seeking awakening: 7.30-8.30am Monday-Friday
Join us early each morning during the week to sit in God's presence, cry out to him, and ask his Spirit to come and fill us for his glory. We'll have lots of space for worship and prayer, but there's no set agenda and you can come and go as you please.

Morning prayer: 9-9.30am Monday-Friday
Join the staff team for half an hour of prayer as we read God's Word and pray for the day ahead.

Silent prayer: 12-1pm Monday-Friday (not Thursday)
An hour of silent prayer in the middle of our busy days. A chance to simply rest in the presence of God and offer your prayers to him in the silence. Come and go as you please.

Prayer focus evenings: 8pm Monday-Thursday
On these evenings we'll be praying into specific areas of the life of our church and our nation. Monday is our monthly P2 evening, where we'll spend time praying into the year ahead. On Tuesday we'll gather to pray for our mission partners, on Wednesday to pray for Cutteslowe, and on Thursday to pray for our nation ahead of what looks set to be a crucial year.

24 hours of prayer
Running from 7pm Friday - 7pm Saturday, we want to commit as a church to praying non-stop for 24 hours. We want to encourage people to come and do so in the prayer room here at church as we cry out for God's awakening in our lives and in our community. You can sign up for a slot here - simply click on the slot you'd like to book and add your details. As part of the 24 hours, we're encouraging parents to bring children between 3-4pm for family prayer.

Prayer and worship evening: 7.30pm Saturday
We'll round off the week with a chance to gather together, worship God and lift our prayers to him, and commit ourselves to seeking revival in 2019.
