We see a future in which men are experiencing freedom, healing and positive change in the most important areas of their lives, through connection with God and connection with others.
We see a future where every part of men's lives are being changed in a positive way by Christ in ways they would not have previously believed possible. Jesus wants us to engage with him and his teachings not just for cerebral stimulation, but in order to change our lives for the better. Men need to see the relevance of Jesus and connect him to all the important areas of their lives.
Activities & Courses:
As part of Men’s Ministry we are organising activities for you to participate in, providing the opportunity for you to meet and get to know other men within the church. We are currently running weekly football and monthly pub nights, with more to come in the future. In addition we will be running talks and courses for men, focusing on a range of topics that are of interest and relevant to men. More information to come. And don’t forget the Men’s breakfast running once a term.
We have a very active seniors community here consisting of Lunch Club which meet every third Thursday of the month in term time. We also have a group called Outlook which meets occasionally and plans various outings.
If you have any other questions about seniors work please get in touch with us by using the form on our Contact Us page.
