Getting Involved in St Andrew's Church

This is the volunteer homepage; this is where you can click on a link and be taken to a page that shows you how you can become involved by serving in one or more of the many ministries here at St Andrew's Church.

Although we are a big church (relative to your average Anglican church in the UK) the fact that we have a large staff acts - we believe - as a disincentive for people to offer to help.  We think that this is why it is the same small pool of people who tend to help in masses of different areas - people perhaps think that the staff can do it all!  The truth is that we really need all kinds of folk to 'step up' and get involved so that we can glorify God by making the most of the huge blessings we enjoy.  Our strap line is Growing Christians - Resourcing Mission and we can do neither effectively without your help. There are seasons for all things and if money is tight (or non-existent!) then perhaps this is a season to give your time instead.  Remember that it is in giving that we receive.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."   Luke 10:2

If you would like to give of yourself but are unsure of what area then why not come to an evening service and seek some prayer to see if you can hear from God what he wants from you?
