What is Youth at St Andrews?
“Youth at St Andrew's church aims to be an unmissable, Christ centred community of young people being equipped to be intentional and missional wherever they are”
Our hope is that through the events, programmes, and small groups that we run, we will see the young people of St Andrew's, North Oxford and beyond come into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to see young people embrace the reality of God’s love for them and desire to see them become a thriving part of the church family here.
We hope that through discipleship, worship, prayer and teaching we will see our young people become passionate about sharing their faith with friends and family as well as being equipped to live missional lives for the sake of Jesus.
What We Do
PATHFINDERS is our 11-14’s ministry. Pathfinders exists to make contact with 11-14 year olds across North Oxford and beyond, introduce them to Jesus Christ, disciple them in faith and see them follow him with their whole lives.
“As parents, we appreciate Pathfinders and SAYGO for our teenagers. They have a safe, fun place to let their Christian lives grow. Also to ask questions and discuss big issues with their peers. There is great support for one another through prayer and a relaxed place to bring friends to as well.” – Parent with children in both Pathfinders and SAYGO
SAYGO is our 15-18’s ministry. SAYGO exists to see young people reaching their friends for Jesus, growing in their love for Jesus and the Bible and impacting the world for Jesus.
“SAYGO is the highlight of my week - I love having fun, catching up with friends and being able to look together at the Bible. It is also an incredible family and I don’t know where I would be without the prayer, support and love of both my friends from SAYGO and the amazing SAYGO leaders.” – Young person in SAYGO
